A Sloooow Week

Welcome back to another week!

This week was not all that eventful since I have been a bit busy with reading articles (either pertaining to animal science or a different issue that has my attention). I think I am convinced on researching and publishing an essay on sloths since it's been very difficult to find much on them as is. If I can help the cute slow dangly furry animals in any way, shape, or form, I will give it my all!

I started a thread about a fun article with some cool sloth facts that I didn't even know. They are not very picky eaters since they like to snack on buds, leaves, and twigs. I didn't think animals ate things such as twigs or rocks, but hey, who am I to judge, right?

I tried looking for pages that dedicated themselves to sloths and helping the other species who live alongside them, but it's been difficult. I've been having to rely more and more on the people my fellow classmates follow which is not the ideal way to discover new people, but I can't complain much. I shall still be on the lookout for a sloth dedicated page!

Oh! I almost forgot, I'm starting a new little segment I like to call: SHOUTOUT TIME!

I commented on Britney's amazing photo and related to her about how I had never considered animals besides dogs to be intelligent in their own ways. With Andres, I shared my excitement for learning more about animals' intelligence and how I had really enjoyed the film Bird Brain. Lastly, Thomas mentioned an awesome story about a parrot who was able to identify a thief and help their owner catch said thief. Animals truly are wonderous creatures and I can't wait to learn more about them over the coming weeks!
