The Final Twitter Update

Can you believe we are at this point already?

It feels like just a few weeks ago we started exploring the world of animal science, and now we are closing the quarter with an essay as our main proof that we worked hard during the course. It's insane if you ask me, but without a further a do, onto the topic today: Twitter!

I started by remembering all the progress over the quarter and what I learned after so much. I tweeted about everything I could think of that I learned, and that was mainly how hard it is to keep up with a website and make it look so nice! I have been trying my best to make it look as professional as possible, and perhaps it's due to not spending enough time on Wix, but I find it a challenge at times. I have gotten much better from when I first started though, which is a relief.

Though I had been using Twitter before, I had never considered using it more than for liking and sharing my thoughts. I thought of it more like a blog than an actual information hub, and I'm glad I learned how to utilize it over the quarter. I have been more active on Twitter and have learned so much from it. Although it is only one of many, I think Twitter is one of the most helpful due to it's structured threads and hashtags that make it easy to follow and track posts from other people. For school, I think it is a great way to communicate with other people, and see what they are following and if it relates to something you are interested in. I found many of my sources through retweets and the recommended when I looked at fellow classmates' profiles. Twitter's trending tab also is very helpful since you can customize it to tell you the latest in what you are interested in, and this was a time saver for me when I was researching sources for the AP Essay.

There is still much to learn about animal science and educate other people about, but I will continue to use Twitter after, albeit on my personal account!

For now though, this is the last Twitter update, and I thank you for reaching it this far. It's been a wild ride, and I hope you enjoyed as much as I did!
